Amongst the many ophthalmologists in Mumbai, Dr Darshana Gadgil has progressed to become one of the leading surgeons in her field specializing in Laser Vision Correction and Cataract surgery. Her 15+ years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology, together with her caring and thorough approach to patients has made her a much respected, successful doctor. Dr Darshana Gadgil completed her MBBS in the year 1999 and has since been working with the Department Ophthalmology at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Hospital, popularly known as Sion Hospital since 2000. She has accumulated several degrees like DO, DOMS, FCPS, DNB to her credit during her tenure at Sion Hospital from 2000 to 2005. Apart from topping her Mumbai University exam, she has several papers in national and international journals. Later she went on to do specialized observer ship in Glaucoma at Moorefields Eye Hospital in UK. Dr Darshana gained further mass experience in General Ophthalmology working as a Lecturer at K.J.Somaiya Hospital and Research Centre.
