Dr Mammen Chandy is an acclaimed Hematologist in Kolkata. Besides being a Director of Tata Medical Centre, he also headed this department for a long period. Started his career as an Academician, Dr Mammen Chandy contributed to Hematology by publishing a range of papers and got accolade though out his career. Dr Mammen has been a pioneer in developing the field of Hematology and bone marrow transplantation in India and has led the largest and most successful bone marrow transplant service in India at CMC Vellore.
