DrK.Uma Ramesh is the Medical Director and IVF specialist in PEARL SINGAPORE FERTLITY CENTRE CHENNAI and WOMEN and CHILD CARE, Velachery, CHENNAI .Her principle interest is in Assisted reproductive techniques and Trans vaginal sonography. She is graduated from STANLEY MEDICAL COLLEGE and went on to do her post graduation from ARMED FORCES MEDICAL COLLEGE PUNE. She completed her Diplomat in National Board New Delhi from MADRAS MEDICAL COLLEGE, CHENNAI. She underwent super specialty course in Diploma in Reproductive Endocrinology from KIEL UNIVERSITY, GERMANY. She completed her advanced fertility training in NUS SINGAPORE. She has more than 15 years experience in treating patients with fertility issues and gained vast Experience while working as IVF Consultant with eminent UROLOGIST and DrBC Roy Awardee Prof R.RAJASEKARAN in MADRAS ASSISTED REPRODUCTIVE CENTRE . She also worked as IVF Consultant in INSTITUTE OF RE-PRODUCTIVE MEDICINE MADRAS MEDICAL MISSION and NOVA IVI Chennai. She headed the FERTLITY Unit in LIFE LINE MULTI SPECIALTY HOSPITAL, CHENNAI. Achieving state rank in High school and All India Gold Medalist in Diplomat in National Board is her Credentials. She received the DrBASKER RAO Gold medal in OBS & GYN on All India basis from the then PRESIDENT OF INDIA DrA.P.J ABDUL KALAM She attends international conferences on FERTLITY to update her knowledge on the latestFertility treatment.
