Dr Shankar B Madikeri is a Pioneer in ENT Surgery with more that 30yrs of experience in various Hospitals in Mumbai and Bangalore. He Conducts live Surgical workshops on Ear, Larynx microsurgey, Ensoscopic sinus Surgeny and Laser surgery, He is very revered as Cochlear implantation specialist. Dr Shankar B Medikeri was awarded Gold Medal and various prizes during his undergraduate & postgraduate days. Rotary Bangalore South honoured him with Gold medal for his work on Endoscopic Sinus Surgery in 1993. He was in the teaching faculty at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College for 10 years from 1985 to 1994. In 1994 he established his own Hospital called Sneha ENT Hospital at Basaveshwarnagar, Bangalore. Because of his keen interest in teaching he attended Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur as a visiting professor for another 10 years from 1999 to 2009
